Beauty has been an inseparable part of my life from the very beginning. I taught myself to braid, experimenting with hair wrapped around door knobs and the styling chairs in my family's Tallahassee salon, Mandisa Ngozi, the first natural hair care and braiding gallery in Florida. Raised in the craft by my mother and my aunt, I worked there every day, immersing myself in the art of braiding, and I earned my Florida braiding license at 16.
Through the years, I've listened to countless clients who endured hardships in their quest for the perfect braids. Those stories inspired me to create a different kind of environment. One that exudes tranquility and relaxation, with a seamless, stress-free booking and braiding experience.
As a tender-headed stylist myself, I understand the discomfort braiding can bring. That's why I approach every style with a gentle touch, protecting your edges and length, and only use top-notch, grade-A products.
