A little prep goes a long way. Here's how I keep every appointment smooth, gentle, and flawless.
Is the hair included?
Yes. Absolutely. I provide all the hair for every braided style, so you can skip the beauty-supply run and simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience.
What if I don't see the day or time I want?
Books open on the 24th of each month for the entire following month (for example, July opens on June 24th). My calendar updates in real time, so if your ideal slot isn't showing it may already be reserved. Check back when the next month opens.
Are guests allowed?
To keep the experience focused for everyone, guests and children can't accompany you during your appointment. Minors should be dropped off by a parent; guests are welcome to wait in the car.
How should I prep my hair?
Please arrive with clean, blow-dried hair that's detangled and free of oils or product. A shampoo & blow-dry service is available for an additional $50. Just arrange it by email ahead of time.
What's the deposit & cancellation policy?
A $30 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit secures your booking, with the balance due on appointment day. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel. Cancellations inside 24 hours or no-shows are charged 50% of the service. To move your appointment to a new date or time, you'll need to cancel and rebook, and rebooking requires a new deposit.
What about late arrivals?
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a $30 late fee, and more than 30 minutes late is considered a no-show. Style durations are estimates, so please plan for extra time and keep your day flexible.
Where are you located?
I take appointments in both the Metro Atlanta area (Stockbridge, GA) and Tallahassee, FL. The exact suite location is shared in your confirmation email, so double-check your email address when booking.
What's your preferred payment method?
Cash is always preferred. I also accept Zelle and all major credit/debit cards (a $12 processing fee applies to card payments). I don't accept Cash App, Apple Pay, Venmo, or checks.
Do you grip short hair?
Yes! Knotless styles need a minimum of 2 inches; traditional plaits and other styles need at least 1 inch. If you're unsure, feel free to book and email me a photo afterward to confirm.
What if I don't see the style I want?
I offer more styles than are listed. Book the closest option and attach a reference photo, and custom pricing may vary. Email me anytime at Chikodi@ChikodiArtistry.com.
